Notes/Tips

  • If you desire to cook a whole frozen roast instead of cutting a fresh roast into pieces y'all tin can. I would still try to brown the roast a bit fifty-fifty if information technology is frozen. This will add more flavor. Yous tin can pressure level cook a frozen roast for 90 minutes with a 15 infinitesimal natural pressure release.
  • You tin can likewise apply beef stew meat instead of roast. You'll but need to pressure cook for 20 minutes with natural pressure release instead of 30 minutes.
  • Other types of pasta you can use: frozen egg noodles, cavatappi, macaroni, penne, bowties, etc. These will all demand more time to force per unit area melt than egg noodles. Probably 5-6 minutes.
  • If y'all desire more of a stroganoff flavor you can stir in a quarter cup of sour cream.
  • To brand I used my 6 quart Instant Pot*. You tin can likewise make this in your 8 quart pot. Halve the recipe in your 3 quart pot.
